Bill McReynolds, Director of Land Acquisition for Ventura County,
Central Coast
Bill McReynolds named Director of Land Acquisition for Ventura County, Central Coast.
Propelled by its success in acquiring land in Los Angeles County over the past several years, Warmington Residential has set its sights on the Ventura County and the entire Central Coast. The privately held home builder is aggressively pursuing well-located land opportunities that maximize property owners’ land value and offer the potential to redevelop for residential, retail and commercial use and will go after infill, urban and suburban locations.
Leading this effort is Bill McReynolds, Warmington’s new Director of Land Acquisition for Ventura County, Central Coast. He is pursing all for sale, for lease residential (attached and detached), single family residences, apartments, student housing, retail and commercial land opportunities.
Mr. McReynolds, who is based in Ventura, CA, has extensive experience working in the Central Coast region and is on the Board of Directors of the Building Industry Association’s LA/Ventura Chapter. Over the past 12 years, he has managed the acquisition and entitlement effort for many residential developments for builders in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. He is now leading Warmington’s land acquisition strategy in this region as the company seeks to expand its presence, development portfolio and product offerings.
Drawing on his network of established resources, McReynolds’ initial focus will be meeting with civic and community leaders, industry professionals and landowners throughout the Central Coast to acquire new development opportunities. With his regional insight and Warmington’s history of successfully converting a multitude of properties types including churches, factories, schools, nurseries, motels, apartments, salvage yards, retail centers, vacant lots and others -- every possible land and/or redevelopment opportunity will receive serious consideration.
“Growing our presence in Ventura County and expansion into the greater Central Coast region is a natural progression for California-based Warmington Residential,” said Jay Deckard, Senior Vice President, Warmington Residential. “With existing divisions in both Southern and Northern California, geographically this region makes sense for Warmington and aligns well with the company’s current market areas. We believe that as individuals enjoy expanding flexibility in the digital economy, the Central Coast offers tremendous lifestyle potential and the demand for residential, commercial and retail opportunities is increasing rapidly.”
Deckard said that McReynolds’ extensive knowledge of and resources throughout this region and with a strategic acquisition plan in place, Warmington is positioned to become key player in this marketplace in 2018 and beyond.
